Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Now that we’ve officially closed the book (so to speak) on Philosopher’s Stone, I’m excited to move on to the second book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

I must confess I had some trepidation about this book; in my collection I had more than triple the number of pictures per chapter for book one than I did for book two before I started writing, and I feared there would be scenes missing, or that the overall quality of artwork would drop. As it turns out, though, I didn’t need to be too worried – I’m really quite pleased with the results thus far. However, I am still looking for art for several specific scenes, so if you know of any… my scene list is on the FAQ page.

Anyway, I have done one thing different with this post from all my past ones, which is combine two chapters into one page. I’ll have to do this on occasion when I’m lacking enough good art to make two separate pages, but in this case it really had more to do with the book than the art – these two chapters are quite short and devote a good chunk of space to recapping book one. So I thought it would work best this way.

So without further ado: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – chapters one and two. And as always, a warm welcome to our new artist, Hannah-Dora!
