Order of the Phoenix, Chapter Twenty-Eight

Hello again, and a happy new year to everyone! Thanks for bearing with me through my unexpectedly long breaks of the past couple of weeks. I’ve really missed working on the site, and I must say it’s been nice to get back home this week and finally start writing chapters again!

Today’s chapter is a big one – it’s one of the most drawn chapters of the entire series, and has more drawings in it than any other chapter I’ve posted thus far in the project. The reason, of course, has everything to do with five characters: Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, Prongs, and, naturally, one Severus Snape. When this chapter was released it tantalized readers who had always wondered about these characters’ personalities, and though Rowling was asked many times later, she has always maintained that what we see of them in the existing books is all we’re going to get (no prequels). So what is there to do but enjoy them while we can? :) On to the Marauders!

  1. Er … that would be MooNy, right? The teenage werewolf, not the Madeye?

Sorry to nitpick, but a site of such dazzling excellence shouldn’t contain unchallenged typos! Happy New Year.

  2. Haha, no worries, thanks for pointing it out. Mad-Eye turning into a werewolf would be darn scary, huh?
