Half-Blood Prince, Chapter Thirty

Whew. And so to the end of another year, and six books done! I hope you all have enjoyed Half-Blood Prince as much as I have; I don’t think I’ve made any secret of the fact that it’s my favorite of the books and it’s been fun to go back through. Not, of course, that I’m not seriously looking forward to Deathly Hallows, of course!

Thanks to all of you for bearing with me through slow updates and a couple of big delays on this one. I should confess that I’m in tech rehearsals for the rest of the month and so probably won’t get started on Deathly Hallows until November. Updates will probably continue to be a bit on the slower side – partially thanks to my busier schedule, but largely because there’s so much darn art for these last two books that it takes a really long time to pull each chapter together! The upside of this, of course, is the quality of the art on these pages, which I think for Deathly Hallows should easily surpass that of any other book. It’s a trade-off I’m willing to make, and I hope you are too. :)

So: enjoy the rest of your month, happy Hallowe’en, and I’ll see you with book seven in November!

  2. Happy halloween everyone! hope everyone’s having an awesome night

  3. Aah! I’m so ready for book 7, but I’m afraid Josie might wait to post the first chapter until Nov. 19 with the movie. Alas, it seems I must wait for both!
